About the Role:
Join the vibrant team at Stocks Investments Inc, dba Golden Corral in Roxboro, NC, as a Hot Cook! In this exciting role, you'll prepare delicious meals that delight our guests while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment.


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace during shifts.
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
  • Adapt to changing menu items and special requests from guests.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or cooking role preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Compensation: $12.00 per hour
